Winter changes the operating environment before it changes the schedule. A stored vehicle may be snow-covered, a legal street position may disappear to plowing, and the road may carry active traction requirements.
The public boundary
The title is a winter archetype, not a vehicle count.
We are not claiming that every Aspen valet vehicle is an SUV, that every surface is icy, or that a named resort follows the practices below. This is a cold-weather operating model built around public Colorado and Aspen winter rules.
Colorado publishes passenger-vehicle traction requirements and current road-condition resources. Aspen publishes snow-maintenance and overnight-parking restrictions. Those public constraints are real; how a particular property handles vehicles inside them is not known to us.
